Router, POE Switch and Phone Installation
Typical in-store installation of phones, POE switch and security router.
The Security router comes with 5 ports, one port is not used, port 2 is for connecting to the modem and ports 3,4 and 5 for connecting to
phones and switches etc. If more then 3 phones are being used an IP switch can be installed to one of the ports on the router to support
the additional phones and phone adaptors.
When the phones are first installed, connected to the security router and powered up, the user will be prompted to enter the extension of
the phone, eg. 1001 and then asked to enter a password which is always 54123. Shortly after entering this information the phone will
become operational.
